Return & Refund Policy

All Sales Are Final

Gathered Goods Co. is a small business offering thoughtfully curated, often small-batch and handcrafted merchandise from artisans, makers, and brands around the globe. Many of the pieces we carry are available in limited quantities and may not be restocked.

For these reasons, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, refunds, exchanges, or store credit for change of mind, personal preference, fit, color, style, or other non-defective reasons.

We encourage you to carefully consider your selection before completing your purchase.

Damaged or Defective Merchandise

Every item we offer is carefully inspected before being made available for purchase. We take care to ensure that merchandise is in good condition and free from identifiable damage or defects before it reaches our customers.

If, despite this inspection, you discover that an item was damaged or defective at the time of purchase, please contact us at hello@thegatheredgoods.co within seven (7) calendar days of purchase.

To submit a claim, you must provide:

• Valid proof of purchase from Gathered Goods Co.; and
• A clear photograph showing the claimed damage or defect.

We may request additional photographs or information if reasonably necessary to evaluate the issue.

Submission of a claim, proof of purchase, or photograph does not automatically qualify an item as damaged or defective. We will review the information provided and determine whether the merchandise qualifies under this policy, subject to applicable law.

Resolution of an Approved Claim

If a damaged or defective merchandise claim is approved, we will determine an appropriate resolution based on the circumstances and product availability.

Because many of the pieces we carry are small-batch, handcrafted, limited in quantity, or sourced from independent artisans, makers, and brands, replacement merchandise cannot be guaranteed.

If the same item is available, we may offer a replacement. If the item is not immediately available, we may attempt to obtain another from the original artisan, maker, brand, or vendor. Availability and timing cannot be guaranteed.

If an identical replacement is unavailable, we will determine an appropriate resolution based on the circumstances of the approved claim, product availability, and applicable law.

Handcrafted & Artisan-Made Goods

Many of our pieces are handcrafted or artisan-made. Variations in color, texture, finish, pattern, size, shape, or other characteristics may occur naturally because of the materials used and the handcrafted process.

These natural variations are part of what makes each piece unique and are not considered damage or defects.

Each piece is carefully inspected before being offered for sale. A natural variation inherent to a handcrafted or artisan-made item does not make the item defective.

Damage resulting from normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, improper storage or care, alteration, or failure to follow applicable care instructions is not considered a product defect.

Sale & Promotional Items

Sale and promotional merchandise are final sale.

These items are not eligible for return, refund, exchange, or store credit except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Gift Cards

Gathered Goods Co. gift cards are final sale and are not refundable or redeemable for cash, except where required by applicable law.

Gift cards do not expire and are not subject to dormancy, maintenance, service, or other post-sale fees.

Gathered Goods Co. is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unauthorized use of gift cards. Lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced.

Purchases made with a gift card are subject to the same Return & Refund Policy as all other purchases.

Florida law generally prohibits expiration dates and post-sale fees on purchased gift cards. Florida Statute § 501.95

Proof of Purchase

Valid proof of purchase from Gathered Goods Co. is required for all damaged or defective merchandise claims.

Merchandise purchased directly from an artisan, maker, brand, vendor, or another retailer whose products may also be carried by Gathered Goods Co. is subject to that seller's policies and cannot be returned to, exchanged by, refunded by, or replaced by Gathered Goods Co.

Pop-Up & In-Person Purchases

For 2026, Gathered Goods Co. is an in-person shopping experience, with merchandise available for purchase at our pop-ups, events, and other in-person selling locations.

This Return & Refund Policy applies to those purchases.

If you discover an issue that you believe qualifies as damage or a defect, you do not need to return to the location where the original pop-up or event was held.

Please contact us at hello@thegatheredgoods.co within seven (7) calendar days of purchase and provide valid proof of purchase and a clear photograph showing the claimed damage or defect.

Our Brands, Makers & Artisans

We curate merchandise from independent artisans, makers, and brands whose individual return, exchange, replacement, refund, or warranty policies may differ from ours.

Merchandise purchased from Gathered Goods Co. is subject to this Return & Refund Policy.

A different return, exchange, refund, replacement, or warranty period offered by the original artisan, maker, brand, or vendor does not extend or modify this policy, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Florida Retail Refund Policy Notice

Gathered Goods Co. maintains an All Sales Final policy in accordance with section 501.142, Florida Statutes.

Florida law requires a retail sales establishment that offers no cash refund, credit refund, or exchange of merchandise to post a conspicuous notice of that policy at the point of sale. Gathered Goods Co. provides notice of its All Sales Final policy at the point of sale and makes this complete Return & Refund Policy available to customers.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited.
