Handcrafted in the lakeside village of San Antonio Palopó, this white ceramic mug is made from volcanic clay sourced from riverbeds near Lake Atitlán. Local artisans hand-paint the San Antonio pattern, featuring blue and earthy-toned teardrop and floral motifs inspired by Tz’utujil Mayan culture. Their techniques also draw on the work of ceramicist Ken Edwards. Slight variations make every mug unique. Enjoy it with beer, coffee, or tea.
